Using the wireless microphone

  1. Insert the batteries into the wireless microphone.

For details, see “About replacing the batteries in the wireless microphone” in Wireless microphone.

  2. Turn on the speaker and wireless microphone.

The green (power) indicator on the wireless microphone changes from flashing to lit, indicating that the speaker and wireless microphone are connected.

When the battery level of the wireless microphone is low, the (power) indicator on the wireless microphone lights up in orange.

  3. Press +/– (volume) buttons on the wireless microphone to adjust the sound volume.
  4. Speak or sing into the connected wireless microphone.

With KEY CONTROL or ECHO on the speaker, you can perform the following operations as well.

    Key Control

You can change the key of a song you sing.

Press KEY CONTROL (flat)/(sharp) on the speaker to adjust the key to suit your vocal range.

    Mic Echo

You can add the echo effect to your voice when you sing into the microphone.

Press ECHO on the speaker repeatedly to adjust the echo effect.

Note

  • When using the Party Connect or Stereo Pair function, sound from the wireless microphone is only output from the speaker to which the wireless microphone is connected.

  • Bringing the wireless microphone close to the speaker may cause acoustic feedback. When this happens, depending on the sound volume of the speaker, the speaker may turn off due to the product protection feature. In that case, disconnect the AC power cord (mains lead), wait for a while, plug in the AC power cord (mains lead), and then turn on the speaker again.

  • While the wireless microphone is connected to the speaker, the Auto Standby function is turned off.
